My article, "Firsts in Television," is up on the Bewildering Stories web-site ( It's a short article on the first time different events occurred in television broadcasting ranging from the first "live" broadcast of a news event (a fire in New York City in 1938) to the first viewer interactive broadcast (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2001). Check it out. It's fun.

Cool article, Chris!

Would have loved to seen "The Faye Emerson Show has the first live-television wardrobe malfunction occur when the talk show hostess’s unencumbered breasts pop free of her low-cut dress."

Holy Cow! "The first home video recorder goes on sale at Neiman-Marcus for $30,000."

Are they sure it wasn't a female one? "Lonesome Dove, the mini-series based on the Larry McMurtry novel and starring Robert Duvall, Tommy Lee Jones and Danny Glover, is the first network entertainment program is show a male penis"

Fun article to read, thanks!
